Arrival and First Impressions
Stepping into the Qantas Singapore Business Lounge, one is immediately greeted by a warm and inviting wood-paneled entrance, hinting at the comfortable experience within.

The staff were notably pleasant and helpful, with a special mention to the gentleman who kindly reminded me of the option to visit the Qantas First Lounge – a thoughtful touch for eligible passengers.
Upon entering, the lounge immediately impressed with its remarkable spaciousness. Despite its considerable size, it felt refreshingly uncrowded, allowing for a truly relaxed atmosphere.
Dining
As you step into the lounge, your gaze is immediately drawn to the striking bar – a focal point that exudes a chic, contemporary industrial charm. Its substantial, textured concrete counter creates a sleek, minimalist foundation, beautifully contrasted by warm, ambient lighting that softly illuminates the extensive selection of spirits and wines. The design hints at a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a pre-flight drink.

The beverage selection is truly impressive, catering to every preference with a wide array of red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines, all notably Australian. Alongside these, various cocktails, mocktails, soft drinks, and hot beverages are also available.

Beyond the bar, the dining area offers a generous buffet spread with both cold and hot options. Fresh salads, cold cuts, and fruits were available, complementing hot dishes like butter chicken, roasted cauliflower, pasta, and carrot soup.

To cap off my visit, I indulged in the "Spiked Milo" cocktail – a delightful concoction of Baileys, Milo, and chocolate biscuit. It was simple yet incredibly tasty, and truly felt like a nod to Singaporean flavours.
Comfort and Connectivity
The lounge provides a variety of seating arrangements, from large communal tables to comfortable sofas and high-top seating.

The thoughtful layout ensures that the space never feels cramped, and the seats are undeniably comfortable. There are TVs throughout the lounge, and during my visit, a Formula 1 replay was being shown – a pleasant surprise for motorsports enthusiasts.

Beyond the main areas, the lounge is well-equipped with practical amenities to enhance your travel experience. Guests can take advantage of complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi throughout, along with ample power outlets and USB charging points conveniently located near seating for all your devices. For those needing to freshen up, clean and well-maintained restroom facilities are available, and the lounge also offers private shower suites for a quick refresh before your flight.
Minor Considerations
One minor point to note for aviation aficionados is the lack of a tarmac view; the windows instead look out onto the airport's interior.

However, this doesn't detract from the overall excellent experience.
Overall Verdict
The Qantas Singapore Business Lounge offers a solid and stylish stop before your flight, with spacious seating, a quality buffet, and a great Aussie drinks selection. Singaporean touches like the Spiked Milo add charm, but a lack of tarmac views and limited morning access slightly hold it back. Still, it’s a comfortable and enjoyable space that delivers on the essentials.
